Dallas TopGolf

So yesterday Josh and I met up with all the interns at American Airlines for a night of fun.  We went to a place called Top Golf.  It was a blast!  It's like a driving range but with points & competition!

As you can see above there's a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets in the ground. The closer to the center or “bull’s-eye” you get and the farther out you hit your microchipped balls, the more points you receive.  Everyone takes turns hitting 5 balls & your score is kept on your own card.  Josh & I managed to make our way onto the leader boards!

It's definitely a game of luck half the time.  I wouldn't recommend it as regular practice for your golf game but it's a great date night activity.  It was fun to meet all of the people Josh works with as well.  Great group of interns!

P.S. if you're interested I just posted an easy as pie pork chop slow cooker recipe.  Click on "recipes" under pages in the top right of this page to see the recipe (:
