So we have been LOVING fall in Texas.  Such perfect weather and still a few changing leaves here & there.  For fall break Josh's parents & his brother Jake came to visit and we all had a blast.  While they were here we visited the stockyards, Cowboys Stadium, 6 flags & downtown Dallas {& had many late night pinochle rounds!}.  To top it off we got some pretty darn cute pictures of our puppy while there!

Okay just look at that face!  He melts my heart.

Post dog park visit.

Visiting the dog park at Kylde Warren Park!
I know I always say this. but if you ever make it to Dallas in the fall or you're from here I have a new place to visit that is a MUST!  Hall's Pumpkin Farm it is gorgeous!  And a blast {annnd the absolute BEST place to take fall photos}.  They decorate it so well, there's hayrides, a corn maze, animals to see, & delicious food!  We went with some of our friends & now I am a little in love with the place.  Check it out!

Photo Cred - Thanks Jennifer (:

We had a blast.  This place is so unique & fun.

Last week Josh and I were able to fly home to Utah and spend some time with our families.  We were able to attend my grandma's funeral which was a huge blessing.  I am SO grateful for flight benefits that allow us to do these things.  It was a beautiful service and a joy to see family that I have not seen in years.

Words can't even describe how cute this little boy is.

My mom and her cute sisters!

my brothers (:

Everyone may not be looking.. but here we are all {almost all of us}

crazy wind.. but we had to visit Manti temple
while we were so close!  Absolutely gorgeous!

There are times in life where you are just so glad that you caught that moment on film.. in Ephraim at a lunch in memory of my sweet grandma I had one of those moments.  Here it is:

Just look at these two!!  Too precious for words.  & that first picture is the story of their relationship.  So funny!  I am grateful for these nephews of mine who always bring a smile to my face.  But most of all I am grateful for the plan of salvation & knowing that families are forever.

The funeral was Saturday and after spending all day with my family, on Sunday we were able to spend time with Josh's at their annual family Halloween party.  Our family decided to be fairies.. even Skamp!

We are quite the group!
This last week I flew home {again!} to keep a tradition I have had with my mom for as long as I can remember, going to the Utah Jazz home opener game!  I had such a blast!  She even took me to the Mandarin & Nielson's beforehand.  Talk about one spoiled girl!

The view coming into Utah!

I was only there for a little over 12 hours, crazy!  But I sure had a good time with my best friend.

You all will be happy to hear that Josh won the costume contest at American Airlines on Friday in his fairy costume.  Don't worry he did bring Skamp for extra points.  The crowd loved him!

How could you not be proud of that right?  hahah.

Last but not least, the promised update on our house!  We haven't moved in yet because we have been painting and redoing the floors.  We haven't got a chance to clean them but here are some fun pictures.  It's looking gorgeous I am SO excited!

That's all for now!  Thanks for reading!
