So as you may know I have decided to create visiting teaching printables to go along with the message each month. For those of you who may be new to visiting teaching it is something we do as latter-day saints to build friendship with our fellow sisters in relief society. It's my goal to be the kind of visiting teacher I would want, treat others how you want to be treated. That has been my inspiration for this new visiting teaching page. I would also like to share how much I grow to enjoy visiting teaching and I promise as you make an effort to do so you will too! You may never see the fruits of your labor when it comes to visiting teaching but you really do make a difference and every bit of effort counts! One of my favorite messages from President Monson: "The needs of others are ever present, and each of us can do something to help someone.. Unless we lose ourselves in service to others, there is little purpose to our own lives." Visiting teaching is an excellent service opportunity!

Can't believe it's already August [Where has the summer gone!]. August has a wonderful message about Christ being our Messiah. I just love love love this message! Christ is our brother. He is our advocate as we taught last month. One thing I love about the gospel is how personal it is. Our Savior is personal. We are important to Him. He numbers his sheep and knows when one is missing. Pour your heart out the our Savior and I know you will grow closer to Him. He's just waiting for you to reach out.
